Hello everyone!

There’s a new Tears of Artamon short story on Sarah Ash’s official website for your reading pleasure! -- >
[link]

If you were unable to get a-hold of the “Anniversaries” anthology released by Newcon Press in 2010, you still have the chance to read Miss Ash’s mini follow-up to the Tears of Artamon in its entirety.

“Song for a Naming Day” takes place about a year after the end of Children of the Serpent Gate and features some very familiar faces...as well as new ones.

Enjoy! And don’t forget to tell Miss Ash what you think :D

Well, my absolute favorite of her books is "Songspinners". It's a masterpiece, and if you don't like it, you probably wont fancy any of her other novels.

However, the first books I read by her were the Tears of Artamon trilogy: 1.) Lord of Snow and Shadows 2.) Prisoner of the Iron Tower 3.) Children of the Serpent Gate. These are what got me hooked on her books.

The trilogy was published in the US and will be much easier to find than Songspinners (Songspinners was published in the UK.) You could order the Tears of Artamon trilogy at a Borders. For Songspinners, you would have to buy it used online off Amazon. I did get one of my friends in Japan to order Songspinners recently, though, and she agreed with me: that it was very worth working and waiting for :D

I would say read Songspinners, then the Tears of Artamon Trilogy, then the 2 Alchymist's Legacy books. :D But if you have trouble getting ahold of Songspinners, start with the trilogy.

Man! I went to the library today to try an find these books but they didn't have any of them. I'm going to try some local bookstores next. Might have to order online.

Whoo! The search is ON!

I know that I had to special order one of the Tears of Artamon books but some I found used online for fairly cheap (amazon marketplace is my homeboy)! Don't give up! :shakefist:
